Iranian stars wear face coverings for corona awareness

String of Iranian stars in cinema and Television has taken photos with face masks in a bid to raise public awareness of coronavirus pandemic. 

The actors including Melika Sharifinia, Reza Kianian, Reza Yazdani, Nazanin Bayati  and Shabnam Qolikhani joined a recent online campaign called '#wearfacemask' to fight the coronavirus spread in Iran.

The campaign helps the public understand the importance of wearing face masks. Wearing a face covering is a simple, common-sense way to protect yourself and others. It’s an easy way to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 and save life.

Some of the actors in the photos are familiar faces for ifilm viewers, including Qolikhani whose acting in current ifilm series 'My Mother' has grabbed a great deal of attention. Her performance in 'Saint Mary' also gained her both critical and popular acclaim.

In the photos, you can find other faces that you might have seen on film screen. Names in the images can be a clue!
